Scenario Analysis allows you to test how one or many assets have historically performed during any customized scenario. Alfred identifies all previous instances of the scenario you outline, builds an aggregate return profile, and highlights the best and worst performers.
Scenario Page
In the Scenario tab on the navigation bar you can quickly run analyses on any custom basket of assets - in addition to your watchlists, screens, indices, and themes
Example: What happens to my portfolio when a government shutdown ends?
Scenario Analysis in Alfred
You can run a scenario analysis in natural language by asking Alfred. Just specify which assets you want Alfred to look at, the condition that should be met, and the time horizon you want data for. Here's an example of Alfred running a scenario on a user's watchlist.
Scenario Analysis in Screener
You can also run a Scenario Analysis directly on a Screen. Select Send all assets to in the top right corner of your asset list, then select Scenario. This will send your basket of assets to the Scenario page where you can explore how your Screen or Watchlist react to macro events, changes in rates, asset moves and more. Read more about how Screener works.
